 Electric Punts have a steering wheel and speed control. |  Pack a picnic and hire a boat for 2 hours |  Boat Handling Guidelines: 1. Protect the propeller from grounding: Avoid shallow water and reeds near the riverbank* 2. Stay in the middle of the river 3. When another boat approaches, pass on the right hand side 4. To avoid overheating: Limit top speed to 5 minutes at a time, followed by 5 minutes at a lower speed * If reed is wrapped around the propeller: Ensure controls are in stop position Propeller is located under the rear of boat Pull the weed away by hand |  The River Thames, nr Newbridge, is a beautiful location to explore on our punts |
